The Down Syndrome Research Foundation has numerous events over the year.
- Run Up For Down Syndrome is held annually the first week of June at Simon Fraser University Burnaby campus. Walking or running around the top of Burnaby mountain provides great exercise for the entire family. Either join your friends or make new friends while helping DSRF raise money to support its programming and research.
- There is the high stake excitement of our Up the Down Market Dinners. Four dinners are held throughout the year. Join us in either Vancouver (September), Calgary (October), Toronto (April) or Montreal (November) to help us provide more opportunities for children and adults with Down syndrome.
- DSRF Events provides information on our annual fundraising endeavours. An extremely popular event is the celebration of Down Syndrome Awareness Week each November with a concert by the inimitable children's entertainer Rick Scott.
- We track the events, workshops and conferences of numerous organizations, from local to international, under Community Events . Here you will find events of interest happening at the municipal, provincial, federal and international levels for those within the disabled community.
