What is day camp?
This new program is for chlidren with developmental disabilities. Summer is coming and its time to learn "how to day camp". What does this mean? Come see what a half day camp life is like! Designed for children 6-12 years, this camp focuses on readiness skills, from circle time instruction to udnerstanding the rules of games, transitioning from activity to activity, create crafts, out trips, using public transpo...rtation and more. Join us as we prepare your child for the busy days of summer camps in Burnaby.

You can expect
- two staff leaders per 12 children
- onsite volunteers to support the program
- If your child requires more support than a volunteer can provide, please provide someone who knows your child well to facilitate their success.
