The 2011 Josephine Mills Research Awards was held on Thursday, May 19th at the Vancouver Marriot Pinnacle Downtown. The evening honoured outstanding researchers for their contribution to Down syndrome research, and Magnetoencephalography (MEG) research in developmental neuroscience. The evening was emceed by Sophie Lui, from Global BC, with Dr. Weihong Song, Canada Research Chair in Alzhiemer's Disease at UBC, as the guest speaker.
