Sport Organizations
Special Olympics. Special Olympics is an international program of year-round sports training and athletic competition for more than one million children and adults with mental retardation. The Special Olympics Oath Is ... Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.

Special Olympics Canada. The mission of Special Olympics Canada is to ensure that a full continuum of sport opportunities is available to people with a mental disability.

Special Olympics BC.  Special Olympics BC offers year-round programs in eighteen sports, as well as local, provincial, national, and international competitive opportunities.

Down Syndrome International Swimming Organisation. An organization based in the United Kingdom has created an international swimming organization. Their ultimate aim is to see swimmers with Down's syndrome participating in the Paralympic Games in the future as a separate category.
