It's Not What They Can't Do, But What They Can Do
Ron Watson has Down's syndrome, but with a little support he gives back to society Michelle Hopkins Ron Watson doesn't want to talk right now. With arms crossed and what looks to be a slight scowl on his face, the 64-year-old has decided he isn't too sure about being interviewed. Then, his neighbour and buddy, Martin Anderson, 60, comes over and playfully taps him on the head. Watson, who has Down's syndrome, breaks into a smile. Watson and Anderson are both clients of the Developmental Disabilities Association (DDA). The two, who both have roommates, live in two adjacent apartments with round-the-clock care aides.
