Beginning in the fall 2009, the Vancouver Foundation’s Endowment 150 will make a one-time contribution of $150 to the RDSP of eligible MHSD clients who open and make an initial deposit of $25 to their account. After these investments, the federal government will provide a grant of $525 and a $1000 federal bond. Within the first year, eligible MHSD clients will have turned $25 into $1700!

Long after the initial investment made by the individual or their family and friends and Endowment 150, the contributions continue. Even if the RDSP owner, their family or friends don’t make another contribution, the federal government will contribute $1000 a year for up to 20 years as long as they remain eligible.
