DSRF Publications (2005) Changing lives : Down syndrome & the health care professional The DSRF has produced a brochure that is an abbreviated format of the 1999 Health Care Guidelines of the Down Syndrome Medical Interest Group. (2004) Motor development in Down syndrome: play, move and grow This is a comprehensive guide for the parent therapist and educator of individuals with Down syndrome. Covering the entire lifespan from infancy to adulthood this book discusses the current literature on the subject and assesses the areas in need of further research. More importantly and practically it includes suggestions for recreational play and exercise regimens designed to develop motor development. (1999) Down syndrome: issues & interventions [CD] An important resource for parents, parent groups, libraries, hospitals and educational institutions, Issues & Interventions integrates audio-visual footage, full text articles and other resources dealing with Down syndrome, their families and the communities in which they live.
PREP Program - Books The PREP program is a Calgary based school and resource centre for children with Down syndrome.
