The Down Syndrome Research Foundation believes that education and optimum health care will provide an improved quality of life for people with Down syndrome and other developmental disabilities.  Our innovative programs and services provide a firm foundation for life long learning.

The Centre for Specialized Learning operates under the auspices of the DSRF & through The Centre we offer a variety of educational programs for individuals aged 2 to 40 years.


The Down Syndrome Research Foundation also provides the following services:

• Monthly Parent Group Meetings, organized in partnership with the Lower Mainland Down Syndrome Society, are a forum for information exchange amongst parents and experts.
• Information and referrals through our reference and lending library and the loan of games and software from our toy lending library to enhance speech development.
• Workshops are provided throughout the year by the Down Syndrome Research Foundation.
