Andrew Bingham is a young man with Down syndrome. His interest in photography started when taking a digital photography course in high school. Those around him quickly realized that Andrew sees unique aspects of the world through his camera lens.
When not taking photographs, Andrew keeps busy through various activities in the community. He works part time at Nester's Market, Wild Birds Unlimited and, on a seasonal basis, Lush Manufacturing. He is the goalie for the West Point Grey Canucks floor hockey team and plays basketball with DCYBA (Developmentally Challenged Youth Basketball Association). He is active with the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation's Book Club, and reads the news online everyday.
Andrew lives in Vancouver with his family and his dog Hugo, and donates 100% of the proceeds from his card sales to the Down Syndrome Resource Foundation.
