2023 saw DSRF increase individual client sessions by 13% while expanding our OT and admin teams, launching the Down Syndrome Academy, and much more.
DSRF continued to innovate and increase our impact throughout 2023. Highlights of the year included:
- expanding our occupational therapy department and our finance and operations team
- launching the Down Syndrome Academy online learning platform, along with the Down Syndrome Academy mobile app
- strengthening our relationship with the Ministry of Children and Family Development while advocating for improved provincial supports for children and youth with Down syndrome
- introducing a new Sharp Shooters photography club
- releasing the short film CrossRoad: Where Down Syndrome Meets Autism
