Eric Bruneau

Office Assistant

Eric happily joined the DSRF team in 2020, as an office assistant once a week. He has enjoyed attending programs offered at the centre since 2010, such as RAC and Money Math, to name a few. He volunteered at the Food Bank for a few years, and currently continues to work weekly at a Seniors’ Residence, assisting with housekeeping. Eric attended Douglas College for two separate years, and obtained a certificate in Basic Occupational Ed in Retail and Business. A work experience placement in 2019 also led to employment at Thrifty’s twice a week. Eric has participated for many years in Special Olympics, bringing home medals three times, (including gold) for Speed Skating, in National Games, across Canada. He enjoys working out at the gym, and participates in basketball, curling, Cardiofit, baseball and golf. He loves people, and surprises them by remembering and acknowledging their birthdates!
