Julia Pierce, M.OT
Registered Occupational Therapist
Julia is a graduate of the Master of Occupational Therapy program at the University of British Columbia. Prior to this, Julia worked as a Youth Support Worker for four years in a variety of different settings, such as mental health and substance use management. Growing up with the unique experience of having a younger brother with Down syndrome, she always knew she wanted to pursue a career in the field of human and health services, and Occupational Therapy was the perfect fit. Julia values client-centered approaches to create individualized goals that aim to promote meaningful engagement for all ages. Her interests include understanding how social factors create barriers to inclusion and the role of Occupational Therapy in disability advocacy.
